1.And Phinehas the son of Eleazar was the chief officer over them in time past; the LORD was with him.

2.And Eleazar the son of Aaron died; and they buried him in a hill [that pertained to] Phinehas his son, which was given him in mount Ephraim.

3.But his sons Hophni and Phinehas ignored his protests and took the Ark from the Tabernacle to the battle scene.

7.And the ark of God was taken; and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were slain.
